Super Conference

Mark your calendars for January 17, 2009 as the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi sponsors an annual patient-education meeting for individuals from around the state who have diabetes, as well as their family members, friends and health-care providers.

The meeting draws hundreds of individuals from across the Magnolia State to participate in discussions about the latest advancements in diabetes technologies and treatment options. In the past, there have been cooking demonstrations guided by renowned chefs, motivational talks led by a former Miss America and discussions on the importance of maintaining open lines of patient-doctor communication led by the former U.S. Surgeon General.

The patient-education meeting, also known as the Diabetes Super Conference, normally is held each year in November, so that it coincides with National Diabetes Month. However, please call for specific time and place information: 1-877-DFM-CURE.
