The Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi has worked with the Department of Public Safety to make sure our drivers are safe when they are on the road. Drivers with diabetes have the opportunity to get a driver's license and/or a license plate indicating that they have diabetes.

Educational Classes


The Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi offers free classes in the metro Jackson area, the Delta and other areas of the state. To find out where diabetes classes, self-management groups and support groups are in your region, please contact us at 601.957.7878 between 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

The DFM also hosts a statewide patient educational program in November, which is National Diabetes Month.
