The Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi has worked with the Department of Public Safety to make sure our drivers are safe when they are on the road. Drivers with diabetes have the opportunity to get a driver's license and/or a license plate indicating that they have diabetes.

Parent to Parent


The DFM provides a support group for parents and children with diabetes. The program’s goal is to connect families with an ongoing support system and resource network for managing the health of their child. A Halloween party and Easter egg hunt are some of the activities attended by this lively group!
