Golf Tournaments
Each year, the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi tees off for the cause of defeating diabetes in Mississippi. There are tournaments scattered around the state, including the Eagle Scramble tournament in Hattiesburg, the Rebel Classic tournament in Oxford, the Bulldog Scramble in Choctaw, the Waterfront Hole-in-One in Gulfport, and the Legislative Shoot-Out tournament in Jackson.
"The golf tournaments are an excellent way to support the Diabetes Foundation as well as the thousands of Mississippians who rely on the DFM for help each year," said Mary Fortune, DFM executive vice president. "As Mississippi’s primary diabetes-assistance organization, the DFM sends children to diabetes camp, empowers senior citizens to take charge of their diabetes, provides schools and daycare centers around the state with diabetes emergency kits and sponsors educational seminars for our state’s health-care providers and diabetes patients. Our golf tournaments support these efforts and directly affect the lives of so many individuals living with diabetes."

Waterfront Hole-in-One
What: Golf tournament to benefit the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi and its ongoing mission to serve all those in Mississippi living with diabetes and their families.
Where: Windance Country Club (named by Golfweek Magazine in 2010 in the list of Best Places You Can Play), Gulfport, MS

Team Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with boxed lunches available at 11:00 a.m.
